A newly built hilltop resort in the Ajodhya Hills of Purulia — designed for peace, comfort and a closer connection with nature.
Nestled amidst the scenic Ajodhya Hills of Purulia, Ajodhya Flame Tree was created for travellers who want to slow down — to trade traffic for birdsong, screens for sunsets, and city noise for the calm rhythm of the hills.
Named after the flame of the forest
Every spring the Palash tree — the “flame of the forest” — sets the Purulia hills alight in orange and red. We named our resort after it because it captures what we love about this place: wild, warm and unforgettable.
We opened our doors on 10th November with a celebration among the hills, and have been welcoming families, couples and friends ever since.
Cottages, not corridors
Instead of a hotel block, we built independent cottages around landscaped lawns. Each has its own sit-out veranda, air-conditioning and an attached modern washroom — so you get privacy, space and the view, all at once.
