Sita Kund is a small spring on the Ajodhya hilltop tied to local legends of the Ramayana.
According to local belief, Lord Rama and Sita rested in these hills during their exile, and the hills are named Ajodhya after this story. Sita Kund is one of the places associated with that legend and is visited by both pilgrims and travellers.
